The sixteenth edition of Chantar l’uvern. From Epiphany to Easter, fragments of Occitan, Franco-Provençal and French language and culture has kicked off, a cultural event that enhances original creations and promotes Occitan, Franco-Provençal and French languages and cultures through a rich territorial animation in the Susa, Sangone, Chisone and Germanasca valleys with musical, theatrical, anthropological, documentary and environmental events.
The municipalities involved are Avigliana, Bardonecchia, Bussoleno, Caprie, Cesana Torinese, Chianocco, Chiomonte, Claviere, Coazze, Condove, Exilles, Fenestrelle, Giaglione, Giaveno, Gravere, Massello, Mattie, Meana di Susa, Mompantero, Moncenisio, Novalesa, Oulx, Pragelato, Salbertrand, San Giorio di Susa, Sant’Antonino di Susa, Sauze di Cesana, Sauze d’Oulx, Sestriere, Susa, Usseaux, Vaie, Villar Focchiardo.
This week’s appointment is on Saturday 11 at the Circolo in the hamlet Cels of Exilles, at 9pm, with the musical show Ludovico San Martino and his Band, a young singer-songwriter who tells stories linked to the territory of the mountains of his Germanasca Valley.
